Yeah, fair enough - I note in one of the news articles, he was so hungover that he firstly missed a team meeting in the morning and secondly, was too unwell to make it to training in the afternoon. That requires a heck of a lot of drinking - and on a Wednesday night in early January?
He should harden the **** up. Cairnsy used to get pissed off his nut before training, but still had the courtesy to turn up. He even did it before county games once or twice, and used it as an excuse to hit every ball for 4 or 6.

****ing hell you fat peice of lard jesse, you could be so good!!!

all whingeing aside, did anyone else notice that that screws up our bowling attack for tommorow aswell, because if broom plays then Elliott will have to bowl 10 overs.

If Sinclair is sixth bowler as well and I miss this game, I'll be so gutted.

Weather alright in Auckland today. It didnt rain overnight and is not raining now. im not too close to the ground but there's high cloud around and it doesnt look like its gonna rain. But this is Auckland, it could all change in 5 min.

With this Ryder thing. Hope he doesnt stay out for too long. Would have been interesting had he done it a few days ago whether they would have dropped Jamie How. I doubt it. Probably would have kept him and then brought in Guptill. Will be interesting if both guptill and Sinclair go well today. What if Skippy gets a hundred?

Forecast is for clouds and occassional showers, which, if it holds true, means little likelihood of play being called off. Right now, its just overcast with cloud cover all across the sky. It is however quite hot and muggy. If the bowlers are up to it, expect the ball to swing a fair bit today.

That doesn't bode well for the Windies then, we are pathetic against any sort of movement.

Bloody lucky to be 40 odd without loss at this stage, could easily have been 20/3 on another day with the amount of swing, play & misses & false-shots. The West Indies certainly haven't helped themselves so far
