You're right, NZ are playing in the spirit of the game, making it worthwhile for the spectators, giving them full value for their hard earned money invested into the tickets. NZ's cricketing body should be pleased.

I won't be, if they end up losing this!

Apparently Oram won't be allowed to bat at his normal position either, since he went off the field earlier today.

Phoenix captain in the commentary box...why? I'm not in the least bit interested, going to put the TV on mute for now actually.

Am I the only one who didn't see Taylor glove that ball at all? The commentators all seem to be unanimous despite no apparent deflection.

I didn't think he did either. There seemed to me to be only one noise, and the ball clearly hit the thigh pad.

But Taylor should have been caught by Ramdin earlier so can probably be said to be lucky to still be there anyway.

Pretty good win in the end, really happy with that.

Mills was amazing at the start - had 2-12 from eight at one point. It's a shame he got smashed in his last two, deserved better figures than the 2-31 he ended up with.

Good win. This is the 3rd year in a row I've gone to the stadium hoping for an exciting match, and getting a one sided slaughter instead. Here's hoping that India can put up a bit more of a challenge later in the summer.

Vettori was magic. Taylor was fun. McCullum's starting to look a little out of sorts. Feel really sorry for Chanders.

At least now we will find out how much sammy2 loves Peewee Herman!

Another pretty poor ODI in the end, sadly.

Its been a pathetic series so far. Still 2 games to make a properly decent ODI from it though.

A good performance from the Blackcaps, generally speaking. A good fielding show and an exceptional bowling performance up until Chiquitita Miller came in (who played some pretty good shots, I thought).

The batting wasn't too hot from either side though, really.

Good atmosphere at the Westpac though - they even allowed people to sit in the front 3 rows! That's a first and it makes a big difference to the 'closeness to the action' feel though.

Looking forward to the game in Auckland..i'll be there with bells and whistles on!

Hopefully we bat first cause I can't see that West Indies batting lineup scoring too many...how the hell did Nash get dropped and Pollard get retained?

Just a shame about the score.
Hopefully Chanderpaul can show some magic with a 100 and get the score as close to 200 as possible.

To be fair I caught some of this game and the preceding games and the standard of cricket hasn't been anything to tell Mum and Dad about. Kieron Pollard, Xavier Marshall and Shawn Findlay, oh ****ing dear.
