We blaming the wind for this from Gabriel?

Though does have the feel that he could suddenly randomly get one on the money and get an edge behind.
I think most bowlers (well, especially pace) would struggle in these conditions if they haven't bowled in them before. And it looks like a Welington special out there.

Gabriel has the first over of a test match
Gabriel bowls several leg stump half volleys in his first 2 overs
Gabriel starts limping and says he’s injured

Wish the replays showed the bowling crease-line with Gabriel wickets would ease the tension for me whenever Gabriel takes a wicket

Wind is a massive factor, both into and with. This is the hardest ground to bowl on unless you're well used to it on a windy day. When the wind is blowing over 100k the attempted good length ball goes fuller with the wind behind and a fuller ball goes shorter into the wind. Hardest ground to bowl on but if you hit the length slightly back there will be movement and bounce. This is not a ground to bowl full on.

Has a wicket now. Wonder if his limp goes away.
Turned on a couple overs ago and didn't see him limping?

Big moment now - if you can get one of these two out and Taylor in quickly can suddenly make this competitive although Joseph and C Holder need to step up with no Roach today - does feel at times Joseph is a bit of a support bowler for the main 3 but can't afford to be that today.

Without Roach. One of these 2 youngsters (Chemar or Alzarri) will have to bowl into the wind. So, IMO, Roach absence will hurt just that little bit more.

If what you say is right then why did brain of Barbados holder win the tops and bowl?

Shannon didn't get his line right but at least he tried to do the right thing.

For me Jason has bowled a really ordinary spell here. It does look like the wind is challenging tbf, but with his record, he should be doing better.
