Poor bowling attack in terms of proven effectiveness, but we dont have a choice. Better to take a gamble against a weak side rather than recycle tried and test failures

It's not such a bad attack at all, especially in Indian conditions.

We pretty much beat West Indies in West Indies with Ishant and Praveen only the main bowlers and Ishant having a really big series. In India though, the spinners should get more effective with Harbhajan out and also Ishant has a much much better record at home than away.

Btw, feel Dhoni deserves to be probably rested for a couple of matches in this series. He has been playing continuously for a while now and the only rest he got was in the Windies ODI series.

And again he would certainly be needed for the AUS tour after this series.

The BCCI's working committee also voted to classify the IPL as List A cricket at its meeting today in Kolkata and stated their opposition to the new sports bill being promulgated by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.
