I hope so. I hope, whenever Vaughan has to go (which I hope isn't for another couple of years), that someone like Owais Shah will come back in, and who knows, not long after that there might be the Sam Northeasts and Ben Godlemans to come in.
Yeah, maybe. I'm just not totally convinced about specialist batsmen as no.6's in the long term.

Certainly am. Got a report to write!

And on that subject... Mr Lewis, what are you up to on Saturday? :)
Looking after the kids for most of the day - I can't see me getting near a computer for any length of time. Is that what you had in mind, or were you offering to buy me a lunchtime pint?

I haven't seen the ball keep low too much, but the bounce has been consistently high. Edwards in particular has looked dangerous because of it, in between the tripe obviously.

I'd happily do that, but, well... distance problems. :)

Was hoping someone might be able to finish a report at around 17:50 or so and upload it. Anyone else up for that, please say.

If he sorts out his radar, he's going to be a real handful on this track. You feel that if WI get it right, England could lose a few quickly, even after this start. Bravo will certainly fancy his chances.

I'm starting to expect it, TBH. :( Can't see Strauss lasting much longer, ITBT. Sad thing is, there's not exactly any outstanding openers up and down the country.

And that's a helluva stroke.
They'll bring back Trescothick I'd say.

Edwards has two lengths, full and short, he rarely bowls anything in between which is poor considering a lot of the short stuff is either too short or too wide.
