Well people have to work of course, but yes, they could be missing a thriller. Not going to worry though with Broad and Swann at 10 and 11. Would have been far more serious if Cook had gone instead of Jimmy.

Good bowling and average batting. He was looking to play back to give himself time to see the movement of the deck. And it was working for some deliveries - on that ball it backfired and he would have been better off committing to the front foot.

At least unlike in the winter with the small total chasing we're keeping the scoreboard ticking. That was the downfall in Abu Dhabi. Obviously they find it easier to score off the quick's than the spinners but it makes a big difference.
