Haha to his credit despite being off pre-tea he did maintain a good length consistently and post tea he's bowled really well, but some of his wickets have been donations you'd have to say.

And no, PEWS, I'm not just saying this for balance.

Even though Jimmy's bowled pretty well, he's probably been a touch short throughout the day, another 2 or 3 foot would have the batsmen feeling for them more.

Against top batsman if you're not attacking the stumps, the more you move it away from the bat, the less likely you'll get an edge.

Yes I have.

He appeals no different to most fast bowlers, they all think that everything's close. He does think he's never out when he bats though.

Broad's pitch map to right handers is absolutely superb, actually. Great lengths, in particular.

Yeah sorry mate, normally I would have gone into them but its early morning here. However my insomnia has continued so I'll elaborate lol.

Holding said the great man was indeed a great WI batsmen, but lives in a bubble and concentrate solely on himself when at the crease. Additionally said he won very few matches for WI, and said that the excuse that he's played in a poor WI team all the time is a poor one because he's been playing for 17-18 years and in fact has played in some good teams. Also said that he is best suited to 5 because of his bubble batting, as he would be uncomfortable at 3 and it would not be good for WI cricket to put him there. Said WI cricket must get the best out of its individuals and even though Shiv is WI's best bat, he's not a #3. He was also very critical of his running, particularly with the Bravo run out. Basically he just said Shiv bats for himself and himself only, but that is good for WI cricket because that's the best he can do. Apparently he's been involved in 22 run outs and has only been dismissed himself in those run outs 3 times or something similar.

Not seen a single ball mate - just being a fanboi for his 5fer. Highlights are on at 7 so will deliberately watch something on my hotel tv for the first time in 5 weeks
