No.Yep.
Hi Mohammad Asif, would you like to hop in line just behind Mitchell Johnson there.Mohammad Asif says hi.
I agree....Considering there was no edwards or taylor playing today, this is a good result for the west indies.
You will have a frustrating life if sports journalist like Huges and Gavaskar can rile you that easy.Winner-None
Looser-Kim Hughes and few other ******** journalists.
I think it was a mediocre match on a flat pitch. I agree West Indies played some good cricket but Australia played below par for me. I don't think it was absorbing once Australia shut shop following the loss of Ponting. What a fantastic test match. So glad I got to see the second half of day 2 and all of day 3 live.
Seriously, I would. If I was picking a team and Bond and Steyn were already gone I'd take Roach. Watched him bowl against Auckland last year and couldn't believe he didn't play for the Windies when they toured here last year, freak of a bowler.
Dont' worry, Howsie thinks if you can hit 145 you're automatically better than a hih quality line and length seamer like Asif.Mohammad Asif says hi.
Don't agree. Rare for a game of cricket to have all four modes of results still open leading into the last session on day 5. Was all the little things that made this Test match so interesting. The Watson chase for 100, some of the spells from Roach, Bravo's little mid-innings fightback with the ball, Gayle carrying his bat. Game had many little highlights.I think it was a mediocre match on a flat pitch. I agree West Indies played some good cricket but Australia played below par for me. Asif's a good bowler but how many quicks like Roach are around these days. I'd take someone with his control bowling at 150K's+ over a medium pacer like Asif everyday of the week.Dont' worry, Howsie thinks if you can hit 145 you're automatically better than a hih quality line and length seamer like Asif.
Roach has played how many games?Asif's a good bowler but how many quicks like Roach are around these days. I'd take someone with his control bowling at 150K's+ over a medium pacer like Asif everyday of the week.
When building a good attack it always helps having someone with genuine pace, Bond proved that in the first test.
No surprise to me.He's played enough for me to know he's going to be quality. I didn't say anything about a world XI however, just said I'd take him if starting up a test team if Bond and Steyn weren't available.
Rate him as a bowler more then I do the likes of Johnson, Siddle, Broad, Aamer, Morkel and they've all played more tests then him.
I actually think they'd be a bit disappointed considering where they were at the start of the day. Would have thought Gayle could have declared overnight giving a real carrot to the Australians, and more time for his bowlers. Both factors would have increased the chances of a result in this match which is the only way the Windies could have gotten their hands on the Frank Worrell trophy.Considering there was no edwards or taylor playing today, this is a good result for the west indies.
With all his 150+ pace, what effect did Roach have in the last innings in terms of wickets?Asif's a good bowler but how many quicks like Roach are around these days. I'd take someone with his control bowling at 150K's+ over a medium pacer like Asif everyday of the week.
