lol! good one Jason!JASON said:About time then for the Aussies to call him again (and rid themselves of their frustration and gain some satisfaction ) , since he is at the same Ground again !!
Hondo , you must be kidding yourself and the whole world , if you are telling me you knew Sanath after his poor form was going to come out and score a century. If you are , you should've told us that before the game without trying to look like a smartass now , ok .Hondo said:Well Jason I'm glad that you aren't one of the SL selectors. If you had your way, Sanath wouldn’t have played and Bandara would have been taken out of the line up cause you think the Aussies can play Bandara well. In fact quiet the opposite happened. Sanath played one of the best 100 ever scored at the SCG and Bandara walked away with the best bowling figures on the night. It seems like you don't have any faith in the team at all.
I have been on these forums for over 2 years as most long standing members on this forum can tell you. I wasn't an upstart who turned up yesterday on this forum and then started jeering or cheering as you have , go and check a little bit more about this forum before you come out with garbage like that, man.Hondo said:But ever since SL has been winning it seems like you have gotten quiet vocal on the forums. You might want to take a look at your earlier comments on this from page 2!
If anyone's getting on bandwagons As far as I can see its you. **(native script) Harida... Hondo... Hondhay ....**Hondo said:Hmmm match Fixing ay!!! Ok let's say that Pointing a Smith take did take a bribe and threw those games away. But it hasn't stop you getting on the band wagon now has it.
I have one thats why I got myself an MBBS . I am not sure about whether you do, from the rubbish your seem to post from the one eyed cheering squad .Hondo said:All I'm saying dude, think before making any comments, You have a brain don't you! People like you really do make me sick, Only support the team when they are doing well and when they are not come up crappy comments like above. Those guys what ever you think of them do their best for the fans when ever they go on the field. We might not be consistant like the Aussies winning a huge percentage of the games, but I would never stop supporting them even if current team get wiped out and school boy team toured Australia instead. Maybe you should sleep on it and reflect one some of the things I have said.
I will reflect, but may be you should have a damn good long sleep, because you seem to have got yourself into a dizzy frenzy and got carried away from that win in Sydney . Look forward to your weekly post when you wake up from it .Hondo said:Maybe you should sleep on it and reflect one some of the things I have said.
Looks like they are going to need Sanath and the rest , from the start SA have made -1/72 after 18 overs. Smith just out to Murali.dinu23 said:naa, SL should go with their best team because the only chance for them to make the finals is to beat SA in every single match. maybe Kapugedara could come in for arnold.
Mate seems like you got ur knickers in a knot. What you are saying doesn't completely make sense, and now I do realise that you are not intellectual enough to even understand what I posted.JASON said:Hondo , you must be kidding yourself and the whole world , if you are telling me you knew Sanath after his poor form was going to come out and score a century. As for Bandara , the rest of the series will see how things go . But he did get smashed in his first few overs, you watched the whole game didn't you ? (or were you blindly patriotic and cheering with the ra ra boys without seeing the whole game ? )Just because he got a few cheap wickets long after the game was dead and buried , does not IMO make him a great automatic ODI selection yet . Lets wait and see shall we, without jumping the gun and then falling into the pits eh , what ?

I have been vocal on this forum for a lot more than you will ever know ..I suggest you check out the forum properly and educate yourself a little bit ok. getting vocal ...yeah right... I can see only one person getting a bit carried away and getting vocal after a win over the aussies... and its certainly not me ..

I am a man (may I insist a happy heterosexual) I don't wear knickers. Therefore please don't judge me by your pansy standards OK.Hondo said:Mate seems like you got ur knickers in a knot. Faith that was misplaced in India when he failed time after time . Where were was your faith then ? Faith my foot.Hondo said:Sure I didn’t know for sure Sanath could have made a centary. But I had faith and you would be mad to keep a quality batsmen like Sana out of the team. Like I said in the other post You gotta have faith, which something that you seem to lack.
Some of the wickets taken in the last over and the ones after the Aussie chase had all but stopped are cheap wickets, just as Punter alluded to with regard to cheap runs when no one really cares what happens, and the batsman were making a wild slog come what may, are definitely of no consequence. But that may be a little hard for you to comprehend. So take it in slowly. read it several times and see if you can understand.Hondo said:Are you saying that the wickets that Bandara took wasn’t worth it. The Aussies had trouble facing him and all commentators was saying what a fine bowler he is and will be for Sri Lanka for the future. If you know anything about the Sri Lankan cricket you would have know that he had played two season of County cricket in England have even won the player of the year award there.
I have 2 brothers who are fine doctors as well and indeed we did play Cricket for our School. Backwaters where you probably come from they probably call it Backyard.Hondo said:Lot of past and present players including commentators have said he is one of the players to watch out for the future, but I guess you know more about cricket playing backyard cricket with your sister.
Making criticism of your team when the team plays badly is not putting down your team. That may be a concept beyond the comprehension of your one eyed stance.Hondo said:Yeah you could have registered on forums before me, but you think that makes it alright to put down the team you so call support.
That was how poorly the team was playing then and that assessment was very valid then. Just because the Team's fortunes changed over 2 games doesn't make that assessment any wrong.Hondo said:Claiming that SL would be happy to win at least 1 match from the series, or claiming there might be match fixing involved if they win more than a game.
I would advise you to do the same, but since I know otherwise I won't.Hondo said:Come on dude…. Seriously use your brain.
JASON said:I am a man (may I insist a happy heterosexual) I don't wear knickers. Therefore please don't judge me by your pansy standards OK.
And I can see you are very intellectual, from the rubbish that you put in your posts.

Sure he has come good and this gives you a chance to gloat around here. But he was struggling in India . And while I am bloody happy that he has come good, that does not mean he didn't deserve to be dropped before. OK . Faith indeed .
And his antics with regard to running upto the President and crying was not acceptable behaviour .

County Cricket is not Test Cricket and County Cricket is certainly not International ODI cricket . Many have done well in County Cricket only to fail miserably in International Cricket and the examples are too numerous.
What I said before was, that one needs to be pleased about his performance, but not make a song and a dance and run around gloating only to see the poor chap then fail thereafter -so take it cautiously . Your suggestion before that he should have been in the Team automatically quoting my previous post where I had not included him was pretty stupid which is what I was trying to imply.

I have no doubt it will be you !!Hondo said:Let's see who is the one to gloat once we start winning more games.
That does not mean blindly cheering them on when they win or not criticising them as the Team keeps losing game after game without making any effort to improve.Hondo said:Perhaps, you should also think about supporting the team and show some faith while they go through a bad patch. That's what real supporters do.
It is a Big Pea, Might I say.Hondo said:This might be little bit hard for you to comprehend with a brain the size of a pea. But at leats try for the sake of being a Sri Lankan.
No I grasp it pretty well. There are too many fools in Power in Sri Lanka.Hondo said:Politics is another subject that I don't think that you have the capacity to grasp at all so I won’t try to confuse even more.
Is this why you got your knickers in a knot? lolJASON said:No I grasp it pretty well. There are too many fools in Power in Sri Lanka.

Since there plenty of players done this why don’t you list 5 players. I eagerly waits for your post.

can someone give a link to the list of one Test wonders in Test cricket...
I would have to disagree 100% here.Hondo said:I do apologise to everyone else in the forums. Didn't mean to start anything in the forums and make everyone else get involved. But members like Jason who got no clue what they talk about really makes me annoyed. Even more annoying when they start saying crap about the country they support when things don't go the way he wants.
