Kinda looks like Dippenaar should have been run out there, but a bit hard to tell really. Would've been interesting to see the third umpire's decision.

With Hall at 9, this is shaping up to be a pretty good contest!

Run-rate shouldn't be a problem with Kemp, Pollock and Hall to come (Boucher is no sloucher either :D) so Australia need wickets really.

They can also super-sub Botha on to replace Zondeki or Kruger, whoever is the worse bat. Plenty of batting to come and plenty of stroke makers come sloggers. What can Australia do from here.

Dippenaar batting beautifully here, and if he bats through or at least till the 45th over it should be a comfortable win. He's a very underrated ODI batsman. An average of 43+ is nothing short of brilliant. Probably only flaw is he doesn't reach 3 figures enough as an opener.

He hasnt always played as an opener though. He has batted a lot in the middle order, explaining his lack of hundreds.

Ah quite true. Good point.

He may get it tonight anyway, batted really well so far other than running out Kallis.

He looked gone totally at the end of his innings. Seems weird that not 6 months ago certain Antipodean posters were questioning his heart too....
Not his heart, more his consistency and ability.

Might have helped South Africa in the long run. :p

Some lovely edges from Boucher to help with the RRR. :D

Interesting that SA sent in Boucher rather than Kemp next. Not entirely sure why because Kemp looked like an absolute gun against England, haven't had chance to see him since then.

But Kemp is more likely to be able to come out and smack the ball out of the ground than Boucher, who as this knock as showed, needed a few balls to get his eye in before opening up. Good decision IMO.
