I swear gayle sucks. Everytime i see him he gets out for a real shitty score. Looks like it will all be upto lara.

IMO, Gayle's one of the premier all-rounders in the one-day game. Sadly this series his bowling has been lousy (his shoulder injury may have had something to do with that), and his batting's been well below-par too.

I don't think there's any dispute that he's a class player though. Disappointing for me this tour, because he's one of the most exciting batsmen in the world when he's on fire, and his form is usually a lot more consistent.

Pakistan would have to be favorites in the match, but Bradshaw's bowling of Afridi when he was threatening to take the score into the 320s or 330s might still prove significant. And I agree with Beleg - we shouldn't underestimate Sarwan, Chanderpaul or Hinds (although a big innings from Lara wouldn't go astray).

This guy Rao Ifti is terrible, possibly one of the worst pacer around. Why is he playing an international match is beyond me.

Lee's performance against Pakistan in this series has been less then ordinary - 4 wickets for 180 odd runs with rpo more then 6 is by no means a good performance.

Against WI though, he has been pretty excellent taking 8 wickets for 104 runs with rpo of less then 4.

Pretty stark contrast, I wonder why? [he has been taken to task by both Razzaq and Afridi]

Why not Afridi? He's a much better hitter than Razzaq and never needs to have a taste of the pitch or test any balls

Of the 2, I'd go with the more reliable man even if he only scores at 110 per 100 balls instead of 130!
