South Africa dismally crumbled at the hands of the Cricket Web U-19s today, at Nixonstown, as Kev Goughy ripped through the top order, and then Matt Pitt and Stephen Burke clubbed the Webheads over the line.
Paddy Gundry sent the South Africans in, and Goughy did his work, pushing South Africa back to 54/4 single-handedly, with none of the top 4 batsman making 20. Symes managed to resist, but Nick Hancock removed Kieswetter with the Colts fast bowler's first delivery of the match, and at 60 for 5, the South Africans looked down-trodden.
Soon after, Matt Pitt dropped Symes on 19, as the batsman only managed to tip the slip catch "round the post". Mokena was bowled by Gundry, and in Over 26 reds man Chris Dwyer got das Neves, and when captain Gundry took two wickets in the next over, Dwyer needed only one ball at number eleven Alexander to remove him, and finish the skittling of the young South Africans for only 134.
