The action of the appeal isn't a state of mind though, it's an observable signal that the fielding team thinks the ball is still live. That's all the umpire has to adjudicate on.

Just because the fielding team may think the ball is still live doesn't mean it is. It clearly wasn't in this case, he should've told them to **** off and play properly.

As this tournament has gone on, Lhuan-dre (what a name- Afrikaans getting very creative lol) Pretorius is showing he is SA's best batsman and 1 of the best in this WC. Will go far.
Agreed. Stolk seems more a minnow bully, England had a couple of those in the last comp and neither have progressed. But Pretorious looks the one with a touch of class who should go on to bigger things.

If SA can get to something over 200 they could have a chance if Maphaka can cause some problems.

244/7 in the end. Competitive. Will need maphaka magic again.
Pitch looks pretty good for batting now, it ought to be a comfortable chase unless Maphaka can cause issues.

Of course, wouldn't be the first Indian team to choke when favourites...

Haven't been able to watch but Norton could cause problems with his bounce too. Benoni traditionally slow, low and inconsistent.

Tristan Luus is raw but there is loads to work with. Signed for Dolphins Academy so heading to Durban from Pretoria. Another from the Waterkloof factory. Probably have to say they producing the most in Pretoria these days over Affies, Pretoria Boys and Menlopark.
