India losing 7 for 21 at the end of the innings gotta be the worst WC final collapse ever

Never in doubt

So much luck went BD's way in that second innings. It was almost like they were destined for this.

Heroic stuff from Akbar. Hope he makes it into the senior side one day. Emon, Rakibul, Soriful, Hridoy, Mahmudul are all legit talents

Not a great result for Bangladesh. If their young batsmen don't practise screwing up against India, how will they cope when it comes to the real thing?

In all seriousness, congrats BD. This is truly a special moment for that nation. They have been perennial minnows for most of their cricketing history, but now have something to smile about. World Champions.

Taking Bishnoi off after that 6 over spell, and then Jaiswal after he had just taken a wicket, were probably not the right moves.

Whatever it takes!!!
Well done to BD boys and well played to our lads. The BD boys showed good composure under pressure at the end there, especially their captain Akbar. Hard luck for India, but you don't win too many cricket games where you lose 7/20 odd, irrespective of the format.

Sure Bangladesh opening bowlers were hitting good areas but couldn't understand the way India went about playing like in the 80s. They barely took the attack to Bangladesh meanwhile Bangladesh were aggressive up front and look to take wickets. The intent was missing by India with the bat. They looked like they were scared to hit a ball. This is 2020 and should have played good aggressive brand of cricket. Credit goes to Bangladesh though, very well deserved win. India did quite well but when it came to finals they were quite meek with the bat.
