If you take there whole careers then yeah Kabir is quite a bit better, was just factoring in that Plunkett had an excellent season last year and Kabir hardly played.
And if that happens more than once then maybe we can start to consider Plunkett as comparable to Kabir, but until it does Kabir's way ahead. Also ahead of Onions even though Onions has impressed far more (and been given for more chance let's note) at Test level. In fact Onions and Kabir are actually quite similar bowlers.

In answer to the quoted question there - there's a tall quick at Durham with 453 wickets @ 26.14...
And there's also a short medium-fast at Durham with considerably more impressive figures than that - but neither of those are really relevant to what I was saying.

 Jeez, really? It must be true what they say about guys often still growing when they're ~20-21 then. He was sure as pretty small when I last saw him in 2001.

Makes even less sense that he's been ignored for so long - injury concerns aside - then. A medium-fast midget is one thing; a medium-fast decent-height bowler is quite another.

Morgie, any chance of coding that?

Could be a really useful resource personally, but atm it's almost unreadable.

You're not wrong there Z.

Hoping to get to a few County games this summer, had an eye on the Eng vs Aus ODI at Lords but never materialised which is a shame, would've been an awesome match for my first live cricket experience.

On the evidence of that pic Mrs Mack looks like she could do with a couple of weeks on the Shane Warne diet

Fair enough. Was probably never gonna play for SA again and is a quality batsman.
Yeah is excellent for us, perfect replacement for Crawley really, some much needed experience, did not want to be relying on Vince and Dawson too much at this stage of their careers. Hope he slots in at number 3, unless Carberry finds himself in the England side this summer.

Yes very decent signing, I like Mckenzie and expect him to score his fair share of runs, and as Pothas alluded to, he should provide the experience and consistency that will be missing with Crawley's retirement.

I certainly expect him to improve on his last season in the CC where he never passed 50 for Durham in 8 innings!

Not sure if this is the place to post it, but problems afoot for anyone who was planning on seeing some cricket at the Oval this summer (and next):

'Intolerable' two-year misery for Tube users -Times Online

Northern Line closed means Oval tube station closed. The next couple of Oval Tests are going to be I,TSTL ...

Seriously considering not renewing my membership for a couple of years, tbh. Not that I won't go at all, but probably not enough to make renewing worthwhile.
