Yeah i like his batting but I was merely focusing on his bowling don't think its remotely test standard and does not look like it will ever be unless he improves out of sight.Haha, no I meant have you seen Smith bat?

Haha, what!? I think Khawaja has played all his cricket in Australia so how can he bat like a Pakistani batsman, pretty ridiculous statement that!!Agree with Xuhaib. Khawaja's front foot play is quite bad, like a typical Pakistani batsman.
Yeah I wouldn't DWTA, but he's got a bit to offer as a potential number six who bowls a bit. Better in that role than North, say.Yeah i like his batting but I was merely focusing on his bowling don't think its remotely test standard and does not look like it will ever be unless he improves out of sight.
His bowling still has some way to go and his batting is definitely the stronger half of his game atm, but he has got good potential with the ball.Yeah i like his batting but I was merely focusing on his bowling don't think its remotely test standard and does not look like it will ever be unless he improves out of sight.
He is a product of the Australian system, so what has he got to do with Pakistani cricket. Or... are you telling me every Australian batsmen has got immaculate front foot play!?His front foot play is bad, just like a Pakistani batsman...
You find something wrong with that comment?
He looks like a batsman trying to learn his craft. Anybody who is calling for his selection are just plain nuts. All over the shop here, Cam White.
I'm not saying he bats like a Pakistani in general. Just in relation with his front foot play. And "most" Australian batsmen are pretty good on the front-foot.He is a product of the Australian system, so what has he got to do with Pakistani cricket. Yep... couldn't agree anymore, seriously don't know why he is even in the team, leave alone captaining the side. All over the shop here, Cam White.
Cam White has averaged high 40s or more over the past three seasons. Definitely deserved a spot in the side as a package, including captaincy and slipping skills.Yep... couldn't agree anymore, seriously don't know why he is even in the team, leave alone captaining the side.
Klinger or Bailey despite them not being in greatest of form would have been better choices than White, David Hussey too won't have been a bad choice either.
P.S: Since I've said this White might very well score a few here now!!
'We' now is it? **** you Cribbage.I've never been one for selecting players based on little evidence, but I'd definitely rather we picked someone with an excellent record over a short period than a medicore record over a long period.
I think his front-foot play only gets a bit poor when he just puts his weight on the back-foot in anticipation of a short ball, a bit like Raina, though don't think he is as bad as Raina.I'm not saying he bats like a Pakistani in general. Just in relation with his front foot play. And "most" Australian batsmen are pretty good on the front-foot.
He's young, he's blond and he bowls leg-spin. Imagine that Smith's another Cameron White, except he'll end up with the better career.Yeah i like his batting but I was merely focusing on his bowling don't think its remotely test standard and does not look like it will ever be unless he improves out of sight.
Bailey was excellent for the Tassies during the last season and then he performed well for the Aus A against Sri Lanka A, so based on that he should have been in the team.Cam White has averaged high 40s or more over the past three seasons. Definitely deserved a spot in the side as a package, including captaincy and slipping skills.
George Bailey's played his whole career as a specialist bat and still doesn't average more than 40.
