Setting aside everything else it's been a pretty good match with a nice balance between bat and ball in spite of the pitch. Pity there's no fifth day, could really have had a great finish.

Agree. It has ticked many of the boxes Australia required before the 1st Test begins.

Overs for Johnson. Lee reclaiming his form and test spot. North in the runs now. Hussey finding his groove again. To top it off, it has been a cracking contest, I hardly remember a tour game receiving more interest.

Used to enjoy watching Oz A versus the touring team in a 5 day contest

Gotta be better for overall tv ratings to have the touring team come into the series battle hardened and put up a good show early rather than having the series all over in 10-15 days with the rest being filler
