You'll Never Walk Alone
Haha, what a ball for the hat-trick.

Johnson, Lee, Siddle, Clark - watch out England.

You won't see many better hat-trick balls either. Solanki just jabs down on it and it squirts for 4. No justice.

94.8mph too. Heat.

Andre - I am amazed you are watching the same match as myself.
To be fair, I've never said he's bowled badly, or that he's hopeless or anything like that, just that he hasn't looked the bowler he was. He's never exactly struggled with full, straight balls, but they ain't got him a heap of Test wickets either.

We'll have a better idea at the end of the match for sure anyway.

Lmao @ Bell. A career summed up in one bitter pill.

Yow! Lee very unlucky not to pick up the hat trick.
The tactical genius of Punter comes to the fore - Hauritz's role plainly to scuff the ****ing ball up so it starts reversing
Dunno what some have seen here today - thought Lee was pretty good all day. Bowled full early doors looking for swing, then dialled it back. Thought he went pretty well, and I'm no fanboy of his. Had Moore 1st ball and the imposter's still in.

Edit: now the ****er's got 100. Well done son, now work out which end to hold.

Umpire Evans does his bit here, calling tea just as Lee gets it talking. He's MOTM so far.

What's with CI's ball by ball? One second it's there, the other it's not? Somewhat annoying they have every other domestic cricket game on BBC Radio except for this one.

Johnson
Lee
Clark
Siddle

Done and dusted.
Set in stone

Been critical of those that have called for Lee's automatic reinstatement but am glad he's come back fit and fast

Now we just need to get some overs under Johnson's belt and I'd be tempted to include MCDonald if North continues to look dreadful

Well if he continues bowling 95mph reverse inswingers at the England team, I doubt he will have too many problems taking wickets.

It's a long summer. I remember Gillespie bowling a few cracking balls in '05 too...
Despite what has been said I'd prefer the 4 quicks than Hauritz.
Must've been watching Dizzy bowl with the same distorded vision you've watched Lee today - he bowled utter crap from go to whoa

Haha settle down champ.

Dizzy got Vaughan with a ripper in one of the matches from memory.

Another successful poach off the yarps then. Fair play to Mooreo.

& that's tea. 185/2.

Super spell from Lee just before the break. Might be a crim, but he seems a good sort so fair play to the old boy.

Complete change of subject, but why are we playing Solanki? Just a hometown cop, surely? 33yo who averages less than 40 in FC and less than 30 in ODIs. Good fielder, but curious, curious call.

Fair play to Binga....

Is a totally different bowler when the ball starts moving in the air for him, reversing the ball is going to be massively important for him, if he does that consistently, then he could run through any batting order in no time, regardless how flat or slow the pitch might be.

Yeah agreed, that last spell was quality, I'll put my hand up.

Always easy to come up with a prediction with the benefit of hindsight, though. Someone mentioned 20/20 vision before...
