**Official** Tour Matches

Hussey goes to Harmy, full delivery that moved away from the left-hander. 13th score over 150 in Blighty, apparently. Good effort, it must be said.

Bowled, natch.

See if we get a declaration now....nope, here's Clark.

That's yer lot then. Hauritz skies one and Denly gives Onions a 3rd, which is the least he's deserved.

358ao. Average first innings score at Worcester this season is 290, so above par.

I know they played last week and batted yesterday, but sitting here in the loungeroom it feels like the tour is about to start right now.

facing bats of the quality of hughes, Hussey, Katich et al, just one loose cannon is enough to undo the work of the rerest of the attack.
Not really if you pick 5 bowlers - if you have 4 other options then a 5th misfiring cog isn't as important. If you only picked 4 bowlers, however, then he misfired, you are in trouble.

That is the main luxury of an all-rounder. So, in theory, if Flintoff is fit I'd play Harmison, if he's not and 6 bats I'd possibly think about leaving him out. But probably wouldn't, cause he is a matchwinner, which could be crucial. I'd much rather us have to face Broad, Sidebottom and Onions than Harmison. And, to be fair, it's not like those guys don't misfire either...

Major let-off for Moore on a plumb lbw shout. Let it be remembered that Brett Lee should have had a wicket in his first over.

Umpire Evans obviously takes a while to get his eye in. That were Salmon Trout.

Lee up to 93 mph 2nd ball. You can tell the boys are going to be flat chat with places up for grabs.

Oz batting on today. Shows they're definitely treating this as a serious match as I thought they'd have wanted to have a bowl first up to give their attack as long game time as they can.

345/8 from 92 overs now; Onions & Harmy unsurprisingly opening the bowling.
So who's been the more impressive out of Onions & Harmy?

Lee's looking excellent actually. 90+mph every ball and a bit of swing and seam. Starting to think he has to play tbh.

Now he smacks Denly on the head.

Tough one, but I'd say Onions. Harmison's pace has dropped steadily throughout the match and he's starting to look quite lumbering. The bowling was good, and he even got a bit of swing, but there did seem to be some fitness issues. He's an old man now.

Onions looked more consistently threatening.

Doesnt count against Moore's first choice average as umpiring mistakes are not included iirc

Bob Willis - "Harmison got more bounce than Johnson". Yes Bob, he's 7 feet tall, and of course, the pitch doesn't flatten out on day 2 does it?

Toss up, really. Harmy got more bounce and (more surprisingly) more swing, his outswinger (to the right-handers) was going all innings, but Onions seemed to hurry the batsmen more, despite being marginally slower on average on the gun. Both bowled well, it must be said.

Some serious heat from Lee in that last over. 94.6mph one was clocked at.

Clark lost a yard of pace, maybe? Never been rapid, but struggling into the 80s just now.

Just returning from injury I suppose and his line is bang on straight away.

Johno getting a real workout here - 7 on the trot. Bloody hell, the deck is like quicksand its that slow now.

Boys mostly bowling with decent control though.

Handsome cover drive off the back foot from Denley there. Clark going up through the gears a bit too, last ball up over 84mph.
