Dane just wasn't looking, stupid prat.

Anyway, what a day for Britain.

Just said on BBC that Chris Hoy, Jason Kenny, Steve Redgrave and Mo Farah all share the same birthday. Ridiculous fact that our who's who of Olympic greats all born on March 23rd.
There's a reason why 20 June is the longest day.

EDIT
And I know that makes no sense really, it was just something that came to mind.

I've done a tiny bit of bouldering when some friends got me into it a few years ago. I've never watched sport climbing before but I thought I knew what to expect. Immediately saw someone fly up the wall in five seconds and just burst out laughing. The olympics is ridiculous.

pretty relieved katie laurie switched allegiance to australia based on this, because she would have been in our side.

Big day for a few of our teams with the blokes hockey, basketball and women’s beach volleyball all winning their quarter finals

Stingers (water polo) lost by one goal though.

The quarter finals are the hardest game in the tournament. One game, loser leaves, regardless of pool stage play. If you lose your semi you at least get a shot at bronze. A loss in the quarters and you're gone.

Well he did get a silver in that to be fair.
@Burgey you could have heard this one already but a couple of mates of mine took Arthur Emmett's roman law at uni last sem, and apparently there were a lot of times when he'd talk about cases he acted on, both before the privy council and HCA, and he would keep saying he "came second" whenever it was a case he went down in

"ah, so here's another case where i came second..."
