4th slip is a run saving position currently. Australia have had the better morning now, 60 runs is what they'd have hoped for.

It's that same pattern again - Anderson and Broad finish their first spells and suddenly batting looks so much easier

About time, weak as piss bowling to Lyon up until this point, allowing him to just rock on the front stool.

How on earth have england allowed our tailenders to do wack them for 50 +

its a perfect pitch to bowl to them

Suppose it could have been worse, as the game is completely over yet but Australia 80 above par for my money.

I still think the pitch is pretty flat FTR. Not that much sideways, although it's quickened up and Broad and Anderson bowled pretty well this morning.

Of course, none of that means anything when it comes to England about to bat on a fast pitch.

A big part of Australia's bowling is the ability to tie batsmen down for overs on end, building pressure for a chunk of overs. Harder to do at the WACA so it will be interesting to see what plans they come up with to do so.

think harris will be really good here. Looks like there is very subtle movement off the pitch, and he typically excels when that is the case.
