Did we see that chart on catches and figure we should even out the caught on the pull/hook column?

England should thank Johnson for softening up the Australian batsmen in the nets

It's amazing how quickly people have forgotten just how dire our batting is outside Warner and Clarke. We've won two tests on the back of our bowling and Clarkey and Haddin's batting. Our batting is still ****e.

Whatever the Australian batting is today, I reckon it's good for the series. Two Ashes series decided after 3 out of 5 Tests, within a year, is just stupid.

Such a great shot that Smith tried it to. These guys need a coaching session with Lance Cairns.

England have leaked far too many here. Scorecard makes OK reading but Australia are just one or two semi-decent partnerships away from getting to a respectable total. Anything 275+ and they'll feel good.

if doolan had steered tassie home the other day he'd be balls deep for a boxing day debut.

Right, leaving work. Better not be another wicket or a booze bus sighted for quite some time.

GIMH to quote his own post during the fourth test of the 2015 Ashes series where, upon being 3-0 up, Australia stumble to 200 all out on the first day.

of course he'll quote it because someone will have made a similar joke to the one Son of Coco just made.

Gonna quote myself in every post after this for the remainder of my CW career tbh
Though I should say I am to retire from posting by 2017
