Putting it out there early, and cbf with a full explanation, but going in without a spinner at Perth is a myth IMO.

The WACA Test surprises me every year. I know it shouldn't, but for some reason my brain forgets about the year before and convinces me that the whole 'pace and bounce' thing is overstated but 3 balls in and you can see it's quickkkk

Yeah, agree with the comms here. Why wouldn't you put a bat pad in early, especially for Broad with his extra seam and bounce?

EDIT: And sure enough they put one in.
