I mean seriously, what is with you clowns. He's Michael Clarke, he can have anyone he wants, That chick was a complete ****wit, she's a dime a dozen, i'd rather go down to the local netball game then come home and beat off.
I don't think he was with her for deep conversations if that answers your question. She was a ****wit though if she flushed my ring down the toilet like that geezus

Johnson looked like a spent force a couple of tests back and now has turned around the Ashes single-handedly with bat and ball. Almost a Bothamesque performance and it will be great to watch if he can keep it up. Would also be great if Broad comes back and makes it a battle of the (nearly) all-rounders. While this series has been really unpredictable, it does look like Australia will post a target of 350+ which should mean a comfortable win with everything to play for in the last two tests.

I really cant agree with this in total confidence that Australia have bowled AS badly as you make out. If they were THAT bad England would be 2-0 up and there would be a Parlimentary inquiry into the AIS
Siddle bowled well in the first innings in Brisbane, since then it's been rubbish up until today.

There's been everything but a parliamentary inquiry.

They're international bowlers...I expect them to bowl quite a few balls in the right areas. When they spray it everywhere and constantly get picked off middle stump then it's not good.

Wasn't it a massive surprise when Alistair Cook got out in the channel just outside off today...no, no it wasn't. How many times have we bowled consistently to him in that area without letting the pressure off? Siddle got him there in Brisbane first innings, since then it's been a poor display of discipline and (dare I say it) intelligence on the Aussie bowler's behalf.

The English bowlers, meanwhile, have been travelling along nicely getting the most out of each wicket by bowling with discipline and in the right areas.

As I said before, I don't think it's any secret why they're 1-0 up after two matches.

That story was a total fabrication IIRC. Even moreso than the recent Ritz garage sale one.

Johnson is a better batsmen than his average of 22 would suggest. Hes not Vettori level as an all rounder but he still has potential. Although we were saying that years ago.

I agree as well 350+ and Australia should have this.

"Just" outside off ? I might go watch another replay, it looked pretty wide to me, unless that's the channel you're referring to, that and he was berating himself as he left. Oh but it did swing away, does that count ? It really should have ended up in one of 2 places, the keepers gloves, or the boundary

Johnson is not a good batsman. He's a solid hitter though and occasionally everything clicks

Which is why England's bowling effort was very disappointing in the evening despite the three wickets IMO. Even if they bowl quite well we'll have a big lead.

Bungle I could understand fabricating a story (the rest of her is fabricated), Ritz is a bit of a queer one... Maybe his mum planted the story, I wonder if he's Johnson's half brother

No if I remember it was a bunch of plumbers having a laugh and calling the papers, who in full trash-reporting mode, lapped it up. The second was a bunch of sub-editors being funky.

They were dead mouthy over here last year, and I believe they got a message from back home telling them to behave then, as well. Let them get on with it I say, a bit of chatter is always good to see!
Who started all the chat? I notice Anderson having a bit to say, and Pietersen apparently asked for Johnson's number (being a smart-arse obviously). Assume it started before-hand though. Remember there being a bit said in Adelaide too.

Was under the impression that it was Anderson that started the chat yesterday. Looked like he was walking back to his mark while Johnson was batting and was having a few words when Mitch just turned around and told him that he couldn't hear him and to concentrate on bowling, etc.

Anderson had a fair bit to say in Adelaide, if it didn't start there it certainly blossomed there.

Yeah, apparently Pietersen said that twice according to Johnson. Anderson and Johnson are the guilty ones you'd think.

Someone else mentioned Tremlett in there as well. When he got his wickets he just stayed out of all the sledging. It was quite refreshing. I think while they are batting it is fine but i don't think they should do it when they have actually taken the batsmens wicket already.
Don't think you should ever sledge a bowler who could potentially tear you a new arsehole to be honest. One of the dumbest things you can do on a cricket pitch. Considering batsmen are supposed to be the smartest of the two species, it always surprised me to see them sledging a bloke who could obviously bowl, while he was batting.

I noticed Tremlett too, just got on with it.

They felt they could get under Johnson's skin and target him mentally - saw him as soft, basically.

Needless to say it, er, didn't work.

Anderson looked rather nervous when he was facing Johnson for the few seconds that he was there especially after dishing out with the mouth previously

I can understand why they'd target Johnson. They obviously had no respect for his ability, which was fair enough given what he'd showed in both Ashes series so far.

Slight mistake today though.
