Business as usual then...At least the wicket still has a bit in it
First ball from Finn bounced and seamed quite a lot
Reckon the runs we've seen have simply been the result of good batting/poor bowling
I don't think there's much between all four; Broad, Tremlett, Finn or Bresnan personally.Think this test is starting to show why I've been a big fan of having Tremlett in the side ahead of Finn since the beginning of the series and why I think Finn is still about a year too early to be playing test cricket. Finn still doesnt know what kind of bowler he is, hes also getting used to what is a new action and whilst he hasnt been poor, hes just not ready. Not like it matters now of course, because Broad is out and Finn would be next in line anyways but theres a few things that he needs to work out.
The perfect formula for good cricket.WACA is such an insane ground. It's got pace and bounce (or did historically) but FMD you get it wrong and you will got the journey at the most alarming rate. Outfield usually ridiculously quick too.
Yeah, in the season of 2009 and earlier. So you wouldn't have seen it.They keep talking about the amount of runs scored in 3rd man, I am just wondering was 3rd man a popular position in previous decades?
Warney also suggested that Swann was having difficulties bowling against Hussey, right before he got him. Than he suggested the decision could be not out, because Hussey generally walks.Prior doesn't bat at 8 Warney
Surely much earlier than 2009, I've seen matches (thanks to Rob) where they've been talking about it.Yeah, in the season of 2009 and earlier. So you wouldn't have seen it.
