*Official* Third Test at the WACA

It's interesting how none of the English bowlers actually have sub-30 averages for this series so far. Shows how much of a concerted effort it has been, which makes perfect sense because they have been outstanding as a team.

Swann not quite bringing the anticipated degree of control first up.

Scorecard looks brilliant, but it's completely out of synch with how comfortable these two look. We need a wicket badly imo.

Get the feeling that Johnson will enjoy batting on this pitch as well, can't see Australias tail folding as it did in the last test.

True, Although they haven't really needed to average much less than 40 with the ball considering the way they've dominated with the bat.

Was just thinking the same thing

If it continues all series, no doubt someone on here in the future will accuse the Eng bowlers of not being able to perform in Oz

How good is the Muss? Stat came up on TMSpecial: This is only the second time an Australian has made 5 consecutive fifties against England.

The other time? Michael Hussey, 2006-7.

He's not succeeding because of his "new attacking mindset" FFS, it's actually the opposite. He's been willing to defend good balls unlike some of the other Aussie batsmen. That, and he's always been terrific in Australia.

These two showing the rest of the batting up on what is a good pitch for batting. They need a double hundred partnership though to get the Aussies back into this.
