Looks like Cummins made the right call - won the toss and sent India in. Batting looking easy. The deck looks Iike its settled down. Enough dew for the ball to come onto the bat
Chasing bias. Innings always look better when chasingTravis Head. Wow. It's a more important innings than Gilchrist in 07 and Ponting in 03.
Yeah, shown a ton of cricket nous. Realised priority one was actually to slow down the game, like a football team killing the crowd by holding possession for a whileFair play to Marnus. I’ve criticised his one day abilities but he’s playing a blinder here
I’m hanging in thereHow many overs till Aus chase this down:
OS - 29 overs
Burgey - 36 (aka the number of years since he was last able to get it up)
kraken - 38
cnerd123 - 39 overs
silentstriker - 41
Window &GoodAreasShane- 42
Redbacks 43
stephen 44
morgieb - 47
Gnske - 48
ashley bach - 49
thierry henry and GIMH - Aus won't chase this
Without those innings in 03 and 07, I think an Australian win is still very likely. I can't say the same todayChasing bias. Innings always look better when chasing
Aus squad, tbf the likes of Head will want to play, another good knock in this series and a juicy IPL contract awaits. How many are even in the squad? I can imagine both teams would be wildly different. I mean who the **** wants to play a 5 game T20 series after a 2 month World Cup + final
Yeah I guess if India racked up 300 he’s not the guy you want out there. But you pick your team knowing your attack is always a good bet to keep the numbers down.Yeah, shown a ton of cricket nous. Realised priority one was actually to slow down the game, like a football team killing the crowd by holding possession for a while
Benching green, who's only played two games this world cup and barely bowled is a really weird call.Aus squad, tbf the likes of Head will want to play, another good knock in this series and a juicy IPL contract awaits.
Wade as captain is very odd!

Australia T20 squad 2023: Aussies name 15-man team for tour of India | Sporting News Australia
Matthew Wade will once again captain Australia after he was named in the 15-man T20 squad for their tour of India which will start following the conclusion of the ICC World Cup.www.sportingnews.com
maybe they should make the toss in international matches more than bat or bowl, have alternate and different pitches prepared and the toss winner can choose bat/bowl or pitch 1/2, and the toss loser gets to choose from the otherICC didn't let the local curator pick the pitch they wanted
All the bowlers are going home & think it might be only Smith & Warner stayingI mean I‘d be very surprised if even half the players here show up in that series
That innings by De Silva was absolutely liquid....Amazing hundred by Head, definitely one of the great World Cup innings, reminiscent of Aravinda's innings in 1996 in a similar chase. The pressure in that stadium when Australia was three down was massive and he just absorbed it and kept scoring runs at a decent clip.
