**Official** TEST XI ANNOUNCEMENTS

That's the point behind penalizing the home side by 10 points. You should have still named your XI regardless and let the Board deal with Sri Lanka.
What if I'd posted a team that had 2 seamers and 3 spinners, then Rich posted a pitch of Pace:10 Medium:6 Spin:1.....wouldn't really be fair. I now know that I should have posted my team anyway but I didn't understand that at the time.

It doesn't really affect me this time because I still won but if it had been against Australia or something. Now I know it isn't a problem.

We(India) did the right thing yet still got punished, i don't see the fairness in that...

This is becomming an embarrasment, 5 matches without a win, we better get one soon or sri lanka will beat us!

The PCB respectfully points out that they were beaten by an unpicked side in the previous match, and didn't complain.

The PCB also suggests an amendment to the non-picked team random selection.

The PCB suggests that the random 11 comes from the 15 players NOT selected for the last touring party as these will in theory be weaker and the side will be punished more.

The BCCI also points out that they are the BCCI and to uphold with tradition they MUST complain, and if nothing is done then they will hold the game to ransom until they get there way...

The LACBC points out that New Zealand had no 15-man squad and their team was chosen randomly from the 20 players (including the last Test XI and 9 of the IMO weaker players in the squad).

In response to the threats of the BCCI, the LACBC has begun a fabricated enquiry into Kapil Dev, Javagal Srinath, Sourav Ganguly and Sunil Gavaskar for chucking.

The PCB apologise for their remark as they hadn't realised the SSCA had been so slack as to not even post a 15 man squad.

The idea still remains from now on as a proposal...

Thanks. But I thought I would rest him as the game isn't really that important.....:P. Sacked is too strong a word IMO. He will return for 3rd Series.
