Anderson's victory pointing out how faster courts are big equalizers when it comes to the top 15-20 players.

Stan the obvious contender. Novak was slighlt off vs. Bautista. He's not playing that well.

Its about as open as you could have hoped for really. Would be nice if Nishi was around but Marin "I now aim to peak at one tournament a year" Cilic has the game to win.

Fed needs to avoid playing a 5 setter until the final. Almost always loses post 5-setter nowadays

The only issue is that it's far more difficult to beat Djoko now that he plays exclusively on Arthur Ashe.

Is Anderson the greatest South African Tennis player since apartheid?

A. Yesss
B. No, Wayne Ferreira
C. No, the original pocket rocket Amanda Coetzer
D. They are exactly equal so you've just made an amazing but ultimately pointless poll

TV comms were actually picking Anderson to topple Stan - he's won their last four meetings, apparently.

TV comms were saying when he was up a double break in the second how he'll go into the quarter very confident as he has a great record against Stan. I started spraying them for getting carried away and going early as he hadn't even won the 2nd set yet let alone won the match. Murray then almost broke back twice, and I was even more convinced they went early.

Then he won anyway
