Whoever thought it was a good idea to open with Nathan McCullum given what happened in NZ's innings really needs to be shot. He's not even spinning it away either. Stupid.

The approach has been all wrong, too much mickey mouse stuff with Nathan McCullum and lots of slower balls. You bowl properly first, then you go to the variations. In T20 you should aim to take 3 wickets in the first 6 overs.

We just have to accept our bowlers are all likely to get spanked by top-class hitters, and SL have two of them out there right now. Southee and Vettori are probably our best and look what a pasting Southee is getting so far.
