Whatever it takes!!!
Macewal is amazing but Santer has been so good as well, quietly.

Its what makes dew a great leveller in certain pitches in India in the day-night games. Sometimes the tracks quicken up and become tougher for batsmen with the new ball under lights but the dew more than makes up for it later in the game if you can keep yourself in the game till then . And that is what NZ have done.

An Oct-Nov WC will make this even more of a factor looks like

Yes, definitely. Its very important the tracks are reasonable too. Coz anything that is not a batting beauty can be an absolute lottery and a win-toss, win-match situation.

I also think in quite a few parts of India, there may not be as much dew back then as well. Lets see.

Santner also playing an amazing role, 59 needed off the last 5 overs, what a partnership it's been to give NZ a crack at the win.

Siraj has been fantastic. Been very difficult for the left handers to get after him.

It also tells you why ODI chases have to be rethought now with #batdeep and small boundaries and dew and two new balls meaning almost no reverse swing etc.

India need to rethink their strategy with the bowlers. Washy is an excellent powerplay bowler, need to utilize him far more there along with Siraj. If Shami is injured, we should rest him for the next game and get Umran Malik in and let Washy, Siraj, Shardul and Hardik handle the powerplay bowling, in that order. Lack of imagination in Rohit's captaincy has been shocking. Its what I used to complain about Virat but seems Rohit is pretty much the same. :(

Good while it lasted. Great innings from Macewell. Huge fan.

And Siraj is incredible. Always knew he will be the one to break the partnership. Best bowler for India right now easily across formats with Bumrah not being there.

We should not waste him in the T20s against NZ. Need him to be fit for the BG tests. I will rest him fully from the T20s.
