*Official* Sri Lankan Domestic Season 07/08

Migara

International Coach
Thilan Thushara has impressed with his fast bowling so much. He deserves a place over Zoysa or Welagedara. SInce Zoysa is the best seamer I have seen against Gilchrist and Hayden (in keeping them quiet) I would pick him over Welagedara.

Batting has been disappointing. Pitches also suck. Too slow and spinning like mad. They should've produced flat tracks with ample bounce o emulate Aussie tracks.

Your never going to get pitches in Sri Lanka that bounce. With three of pitches not been used regularly they were always going to poor. Looks like Galle going to take a couple season to get a decent standard again. Mind you it has always turned a mile, and been slow.

Final between Kandurata v Wayamba has started after early morning rain pushed the start time back. The match has been reduced to 43 overs each. Both sides have gone unchanged from their last meeting, with Vandort once again being benched by Wayamba.

Jayawardene won the toss and put Kandurata into bat. Welegedara has already stuck early with Paranavitana out in the 5th over. Slow start so far with Maharoof and Welegedara bowling well it seems. Kandurata are 1/19 in the 7th over so far.

LOL, Jehan Muburak gets dropped from the national squad and basically gets told he needs to start scoring runs if he wants to play for Sri Lanka again. While Rantunga around his daddy wont get him in the team.

Comeback and scores a hundred. His 5th of his career. Hopefully he doesn't score too many more though.
