Might be Patel/McCullum gone. Get the feeling it'll be McKay though.Hmmm, so now that Oram's banked a place for himself come game one (not like he wasn't already a lock) what will the team look like? He can't play at six so it's either McKay or Southee gone imo.
I'm a bit confused about N McCullum. He's listed in the squad but he hasn't played ANY of the 5 warm up games.Hmmm, so now that Oram's banked a place for himself come game one (not like he wasn't already a lock) what will the team look like? Perhaps, doubt New Zealand would go into this game without a frontline spinner though, although I'd love to see Patel left out.Might be Patel/McCullum gone. Get the feeling it'll be McKay though.
As far as we know. I'm wondering why Oram didn't bowl at all. I suppose we didn't need him to, but it would have been nice to see him get some practice with a tidy over or two.Another good performance from NZ. Very good build up. With no injuries...
yeh he bowled beautifully in the practice games. should be an automatic selection for odis from now until the wcWell Jeets has done alright in the warmups, very curious IMO I thought he would be out of the ODI setup for a long time. Did his confidence miraculously comeback?
Only if no Vettori IMO. Don't understand how he got so far ahead of Nath Mac in the pecking order TBH. Wasn't a big fan of Nathan's, but thought he bowled well for NZ last season, and his batting is very handy as well.yeh he bowled beautifully in the practice games. should be an automatic selection for odis from now until the wc
Personally reckon an Ind vs. SL final would be the best result. Would be quite unpredictable![]()
I will NOT be baited unless you're talking about the maroon team.India are going to smash NZ tomorrow. It's going to be a belting.
[/ lame attempt to get some nice banter going]![]()
If the team is good enough it won't matter.I actually think that this competition could be decided by who bats under lights.
Hate it when it comes down to that.
Hmmmmmmmm... Not really - imagine if NZ for instance got 250, and then IND had to chase it under lights, and the ball started hooping around, and they ended up 40/6 or something like that. Not really fair on India in that instance. If the team is good enough it won't matter.
Thank you.Don't like these day night games in Srilanka where toss decides atleast 75 % of the matches,if not more.
