Brillant, Bloody brillant. Picking five batsmen is looking like a genius move right now.

NZ seem to be folding.

Why isn't Vettori playing again? He's always a good option with the bat..

Sorry New Zealanders, when Hopkins came out at no. 6 this was always gonna happen.

Anyone know if you can watch this game on any UK channels?

He just scored a brilliant 95 in the last game with us 28-3 in a 190 run partnership! Am I missing something?

Especially with this current New Zealand team. Unless of course you think playing Ingram and batting Guptill at three is going to produce better results up top.

Goodish fightback but probably still not enough, unlike chasing a 230-250 score the Sri Lankan batsmen can basically take as long as they need to get in.

And he still struggled during the first 10-15 overs of the game. As he did today and got out - which is what happens rather a lot in that position (if you bother to look at his innings at #3 which include some freebies against minnow sides to prop up the average to what is still a good 7-8 runs below what he manages at #4).

He's a #4. It's blatant. At #3 the ball is likely still swinging and Taylor basically ends up trying not to play across the line and not trying to plant his front foot down the pitch.

Ruining your only available proven quality bat is absolute stupidity. Taylor should be the first guy down on the team sheet. He bats 4. Styris is next, he bats 5. Then worry about the rest. I'm so going to laugh at you lot if someone else actually gets settled at #4 and then you start whinging about Taylor underperforming...

Tbh I wonder if the reason Kane is struggling is because he is well aware of the insane amount of hype surrounding him...

But it is just two games. Remember Taylor's first test series? That was drop dead woeful.

And why the hell is Elliott not playing? Must be the most underrated OD batsman in NZ, even over Styris.
