Agree, what a joke. Hope test cricket is put out of its misery soon.
Noooo, I suppose it just isn't that popular in the Caribbean anymore. No one really cares about Sri Lanka vs West Indies anyway. The cricket was boring too. Soft dismissals, mediocre batting, and all that. Test cricket doesn't need to go anywhere. SL and WI just need to get their **** together.

Even if WI and SL play great test cricket no one is going to watch them play test cricket because fans in that parts of the world don't care about test cricket. It's too long and boring.

Can't do anything if the people don't care, basically.

Context has to be added. There is little doubt imo. An annual/binannual Test Championship format has to be agreed upon.

I have never seen an emptier stadium. Chandimal retired hurt. Hit by a bouncer
Stop spewing falsehoods.

The stadium is not empty.

And Chandimal wasn't hit by a bouncer; it was Mathews earlier.

Chandimal went off feeling the effects if a migrain. He was retired ill, rather than retired hurt.

Get your facts right next time. And at least watch the game to get some context before rambling on your falsehoods here.

Jason Holder constantly seems to make runs.

Is Chandimal likely to return or is SL effectively 4 down already? Some great pre declaration hitting there by Bishoo 16(45) and Roach 11(31) to cash in some final quick runs.

Can't help but feel WI went a bit too premature on the declaration, 450 runs in 150 overs isn't 100% foolproof I don't think. Granted I wasn't watching the game so the actual story might be a bit different.

I'd still back them to win anyway unless Chanders goes nuts.

Oh good, now SL can make that biggest run chase in history that no one cared about

My understanding was that you can only come back if it was an external or visible injury. Migraines, hamstring strains, cramps etc are not included. I might be making this up though.

25.4.2 If a batsman retires because of illness, injury or any other unavoidable cause, that batsman is entitled to resume his innings. If for any reason this does not happen, that batsman is to be recorded as ‘Retired - not out’.

Yeah, I think you are making stuff up.

You're close

If a fielder suffers an 'external' injury, they can go off the field and come back and suffer no penalty time before bowling

Likewise, if a batsman suffers an external injury during the game, they can have a runner

Suffering dehydration. So should be the first batsman to turn up this morning in a fall of wicket.
