Actually Suranga Lakmal was throwing up on the field. Few others were ill too. Keep the players perspective aside, the data on pollution parameters looked horrible.
Yeah it looked bloody awful. Chennai-like in horribleness.

When you're having trouble clearly making out the stands on the other side of the field there might just be a legit issue.

The Sri Lankan players were advised by their cricket board to take the field in order to "ensure the continuity of the match", and praised the decision taken by the team to uphold the spirit of the game.

SLC also assured the team that they "shall take all necessary steps to defend any player, in the event any unwarranted allegation is brought against a member of the team."

Weren't you just whinging about the chucker and the drug cheat in the other thread like 5 minutes ago?
Moaning about threads being derailed by discussing them all the time is a bit different to being a cry arse about a series 13 years ago. Or should I mention Bodyline that you all still bleat about? Sooks

Inb4 ***** says 'Yes my posts are still pretty relevant, thank you for acknowledging this'
Please provide examples of his posts being relevant, when all the available data points to them having died like the IPL thread.

A similar controversy occurred on SL’s 1995 tour of Oz where in the Perth Test they were cited for ball tampering but the umpires couldn’t sustain the charge because they didn’t replace the ball! Recall SL being highly outraged by the accusation.

If SL were ball tampering they were the worst ever at it as Oz scored 5 for 600 or so.

Should have been 3 for 600 obviously

Just finished the day 3 highlights. It's nice to both teams bouncing each other a lot. Also nice to see a pitch that has a good coverage of grass (although dry), those have been rather lacking in West Indies recently. Really sad to see a very interesting match being played in front of what looked like only about 250 people.

I'd suppose crowd attendances might improve if they start winning a bit more. A look at the batting averages on the first class scene is really depressing though.
