*Official* Sri Lanka Tour of South Africa 2019

Bolo

State Captain
Out of form in odis. Not bowling well

He is below his best in test. Still outstanding. But he is lacking venom. Its been a long time since he really tore into a side. A year? He was doing it very frequently from the time he first got good till then

I mean they're not that far off victory really. If these two get it within 70 it'l be interesting

Would sa contemplate keeping Olivier in the side for a bit to stop him being tempted to go kolpak?
I don't think so, and they should not. Olivier is 4th/5th choice and should know that. He has not got the skills of Philander, Steyn and Rabada and can't expect SA to keep picking a 5 bowler attack. Mulder will be picked sooner rather than later. So if he feels that he will further his career overseas he must do that not wait around in the hope that he will become a first choice pick. Unfortunately for him SA fast bowling depth is immense, so no mollycoddling should happen.

Just stumbled on this - without wishing to put the kiss of death on the Lankans' chances it looks like being a very interesting game

Perera has hit form out of nowhere. Thought he looked good in his innings over here before getting hit and having to retire hurt, now two fifties in this test

I remember thinking he was awful a couple of years ago

how is this game this close? never give sri lanka a helpful deck they can use their bats and their seamers come into the game when you do this

Yeah it's pretty crazy that theyl certainly get at least within 80 runs of victory, likely much closer

On paper it looks like a ridiculous mismatch, the two bowling lineups especially lol

Yeah, I'm mainly basing it on the 2016 series against us when nearly the whole team got runs and he struggled. I'm sure he's perfectly fine in LO games

Rabada’s been taken to the cleaners. Sri Lanka quicks got the old ball to move yesterday but South Africans haven’t. Though every other ball had been short, so not they given themselves a chance. Be incredible if this is chased, and would be South Africa’s worst defeat this decade.

With less than 100 to go it's time for Sri Lanka to start to dream. I see their tail even wagged a bit in the first innings so it might not be all on this pair.
