Saifuddin came back from injury and played few games in bpl. He looks alright now to be in the national side but selectors said they dont want to rush him to the squad.

It's particularly weird because he retired a while ago now and has an IPL gig with the sunrisers. From what I can tell him being in the test squad means he's not available for their first games. Maybe the sunrisers told him he's not gonna start (they've gotta try and fit head, Cummins, Phillips, klassan, makram and hasaranga into 4 slots) and he's decided to play the tests instead?
