***Official*** Sri Lanka in the West Indies

it's the sort of pitch where McGrath and Pollock would absolutely carve up on

you just need to put the ball in the right areas.. not much swing, but lots of seam movement both ways.... you just wonder what would've been had they had a Corey Collymore in their team because he was very accurate
Vaas will do really well on this pitch

Windies had a chance to really screw the lankans up.. but now Lanka will be happy with this..

Collymore has decent accuracy, but he's too slow to be considered a frontline test bowler...

This may sound stupid, but i don't know.. does anyone know what happened to Pedro Collins ?...

Was selected in this squad, but choice to play county cricket as Kolpax instead.

I love the way that Ishara Amerasinghe has got his Test number on his shirt in the form of a sticky label with "108" written on it in felt tip.

I also see a lot of David Kennett in the way that he bats.

Nice crash.

OK, now that Gayle has defeated the theory that he brought in Chattergoon to open amd let him skive Vaas' first over with the ball, what is Devon Smith doing in the team now that it is his slot that's been taken up by Chattergoon?

Don't try figuring it out. Love that Gayle opened. Shut up some naysayers. Not on this forum mind.

Samuels gone LBW to Murali a bit unlucky to that decision but it was only a matter of time as he looked clueless against Murali.

How good does Vaas look? thought he was finished watching him in Australia but he looked as good as ever so far this tour.

Needs to convert them. Should have at least 20 centuries by now. Anyway, game balanced as it stands. WI need a 50-100 run to stand a chance.

The openers gone for the Sri Lanka - the Windies on top. Anyway should be good viewing as we now have the two most elegant batsmen in the world at the crease with Sangakkara & Jayawardene.

Well, looking at the last ball of the Windies first innings, I think anything over 100 may be too much on this pitch. Would put all my money on Sri lanka to win this, if I wasn't throwing it away on other sports.

Jayawardene gone now!

SL effectively 3/16. Lots of pressure on Sanga now. I back him to make a score.

SL paying 2.25 atm, WI paying 1.72

I'm tempted. Would have liked more than 2.25 after Jayawardene's wicket though.

EDIT: Haha Sanga gone before I even have a chance to get on bet365.

Surely this test is WI's now? SL in dire straits.
