Game is done here. Thought there was a reasonable chance SL would get over the line pre the day starting but it was dependent on not losing wickets in the first 45. Good end to the year for SA. They have a very reasonable 2024 if you exclude the 2 tests in NZ, which you can reasonably do given the circumstances.

Yeah... second test esp. was far closer than the scoreline indicates but well done to RSA. SL continues to impress though and hopefully they continue in this trajectory.

These wins always feel more rewarding than total domination. I guess when you get questions flung at you & providing answers most of the time, it's a good sign for a test team.

Well done boys! I enjoyed this series because it wasn't all about green wickets and fast bowling. We really saw some old fashioned Test Cricket.

I think Sri Lanka were great in this series barring that 42 all out. It is still a testament to their talent and character that they came back fighting after and didn't get blown away again. Chasing nearly 350 is almost never done and there is a reason for that.

For SA the batting has really come on. What a difference having some batters who want to get stuck in makes.

Both of them I feel need to tighten up. de Zorzi threw away what I thought was a great opportunity for him to make runs in the 2nd dig in Durban and Bedingham is a much better player when he is not trying to smoke a boundary every ball. He has enough shots to score at a 60+ SR even without being overly aggressive.
