Game is done here. Thought there was a reasonable chance SL would get over the line pre the day starting but it was dependent on not losing wickets in the first 45. Good end to the year for SA. They have a very reasonable 2024 if you exclude the 2 tests in NZ, which you can reasonably do given the circumstances.

That ended really quickly...

Not unhappy about that have meetings all morning and could do without the stress of having to keep an eye on the cricket ;)

Well done to the boys. Great play, stood up and played hard under some tough pressure at stages. I really like this SL team, I hope they keep the good performances going.

Well done boys! I enjoyed this series because it wasn't all about green wickets and fast bowling. We really saw some old fashioned Test Cricket.

I think Sri Lanka were great in this series barring that 42 all out. It is still a testament to their talent and character that they came back fighting after and didn't get blown away again. Chasing nearly 350 is almost never done and there is a reason for that.

For SA the batting has really come on. What a difference having some batters who want to get stuck in makes.

I suppose Bedingham and De Zorzi will be most disappointed with their series performance. Markram a 47 & 50-odd but want more from him.
Both of them I feel need to tighten up. de Zorzi threw away what I thought was a great opportunity for him to make runs in the 2nd dig in Durban and Bedingham is a much better player when he is not trying to smoke a boundary every ball. He has enough shots to score at a 60+ SR even without being overly aggressive.
