Good couple of deliveries there. Perfect day to be bowling. It's cool (for Durban) and plenty of cloud cover.

Bavuma's arm is heavily strapped. Yikes.

Should have played this series at Joburg & Bloem but it is what it is now.

Sri Lanka won the toss and will bowl.
Need a solid first session.
Because SA lost here in 2019? I dont know if I agree with that. Durban and PE are two of the more diverse sets of conditions we get, I think it's good for the team to find the skills to win here.

We can do that when WTC final is not at stake. We have never beaten Sri Lanka at Durban.
I would play aus at the slower venues not Sri Lanka.

I actually have no idea about the logistics of this. When are the venues chosen? Any idea?

No idea but I have seen India move venues last minute. In fact they changed the venue during a series vs aus.
I am interested to find out how it work. There has been pretty decent advertising for this match in Durban. The local radio stations have been involved and so have the printed media. I wonder how it would have went down if they changed the venue after the Bangladesh series!

I wish Mathews didn't have legs made of paper. The bloke has had an amazing career but it's like we were robbed of a significant part of it because he had to essentially stop bowling in Tests.
