Saf didn't really bowl that long yday to make the rest argument, was a very brief innings and tbh I'd be impressed if Srl made that 280 score when they do bat.
If that's the case I'd like them to send in Keshav to score his 50.If they score 500 they will deserve it even more! Why not bat when time is not an issue.
Good question, nobody comes immediately to mind.Has there been a batsman who aesthetically was more pleasing than JP Duminy and averaged less than him? 30 of the easiest on the eye runs you could see and then he misses a ball which shouldn’t be missed.
If he had a full FC career he would be averaging 60+Has there been a batsman who aesthetically was more pleasing than JP Duminy and averaged less than him? 30 of the easiest on the eye runs you could see and then he misses a ball which shouldn’t be missed.
Won't happen.Number 3 struggling, number 4 with a career average sub 35 and a number 6 who has a highest score of 21 in last 6 test innings. Changes should be made for Joburg.
Would be tough on Rillee if that happened and de Bruyn did well..Won't happen.
But I wouldn't mind seeing De Bruyn get a run in the Test side.
I can't think of anyone. Yet, there are more batsmen with aesthetically pleasing techniques, lacking a great average. Ian Bell comes to mind. And there are those who do things the opposite way. Shiv Chanderpaul, to name one.Has there been a batsman who aesthetically was more pleasing than JP Duminy and averaged less than him? 30 of the easiest on the eye runs you could see and then he misses a ball which shouldn’t be missed.
True. But looks like Rilee might be giving up on getting a shot with SA and is looking to the UK.Would be tough on Rillee if that happened and de Bruyn did well..
Graeme Smith is another.I can't think of anyone. Yet, there are more batsmen with aesthetically pleasing techniques, lacking a great average. Ian Bell comes to mind. And there are those who do things the opposite way. Shiv Chanderpaul, to name one.
Yeah, but judging from his technique, he should average closer to 50 or even 50+. Maybe my view is a bit clouded, since I've always been somewhat of a Bell-fan.Bell averages 43-44 doesn't he? Think that is pretty good.
Think Rillee will hang on, he has become a fixture in the LO stuff and should play quite a bit over the next 6 months (barring injury)True. But looks like Rilee might be giving up on getting a shot with SA and is looking to the UK.
