No. He's an excellent catcher, but too slow in the fiels and between the wickets. At his pace his should be a Ranatunga to play ODIs (must have all those cheeky little shots that Arjuna possessed)

Misbah-ul-Haq may be on of the better fielders from Pakistan, but his fielding has been dire here. First a dropped catch, and then a Samaraweera stroke for (possibly) two is deflected so weakly, it goes for four.

Seen flatter tracks in Pak and If the Pak fielders could catch, Khan would have had a couple of wickets and Sri Lanka would have been all out for less than 400.

He's become more aggressive but he's still ridiculously boundary-reliant early in his innings. He doesn't rotate the strike enough against good bowling to play one day cricket, especially given the fact that he no longer bowls.

Don't forget Pak hasn't batted in a test match for past 14 months. 650 runs pressure against two best spinners in the world and you can expect them to falter if it was Aus, Ind or Saf you could have said said they will bat out safely but not for Pakistan I am afraid.

Its 38 and agree he should go but the problem is the next best spinner in the country is just 15.
