Fernando gets Misbah. If SL are to win this game, the next hour or so becomes crucial. If Pakistan can avoid the follow-on, then I believe they save the Test.

Agreed re Selectors, but having selected this team what suprises me is Mahela doesnt use Warnapura who has very good FC record so does Samaraweera

Who would come to see such a test match. Everybody knew right from first session of day-1 that it is going to be a draw. People want result. Nothing is better than test cricket if chances of draw are minimum.

I shall be the happiest person if ICC bans test cricket in Pakistan forever. Such a cricket board does not deserve to get test cricket. Such pitches will create more challenges to test cricket. All cricket boards and ICC must take care and ensure that there are supporting wickets for test cricket. Test cricket will come to an end if ICC did not keep a check. Ban test cricket in countries like Pakistan who fail to make supporting wickets for test cricket. Being a cricket fan test cricket is more dear to me than cricket in Pakistan.

Umpire davis could have been bit more generous in this game towards the bowlers could have 20 wickets!! at least :dry:

1085 runs for 11 wickets atm. Totally and utterly unacceptable. This is the death of Test cricket in Pakistan. Are there actually more than 200 spectators in today? Just think about it, a pretty unique chance to see Murali and Mendis bowling in tandem and a) no-one bothers to turn up, b) they go for roughly 100 runs per wicket. Aarrghh.

This is the flattest pitch in the world. Even Lohmann would average 100+ on this.

I generally wouldn't pay money to watch batting practice, and neither it seems will the Pakistan public.
