I said the last few years and that is precisely that.
No team can go 2.5 years without a series win except against the worst test team (Bangladesh dont count) and be not called crap, whether injuries/drugs/indiscipline.

Btw its 2 years not 2.5 and how much test cricket did Pak play in 12 months of that 2 year period.

August 06 to Jan 09 can be called 2.5 years. Minus 12 months, still it is 1.5 years. More than that, Pakistan has lost 4 out of 5 test series in that period.

Before the Australian series India had not won a series in the previous 3 they played, did that make India a **** side?, sometimes teams go through a rough period due to various reasons and Pakistan record prior to the period you mentioned was excellent, it just shows that the team is inconsistent rather then ****.

Responding to general insults aside, how would you rank this Pakistan side? I think the loss of Asif and Yousuf will hit them hard. Losing your best bowler and best batsman in such a short time can't be good for business.

TBH, I am quite excited with some of the youngsters that are coming up, I would say I never been excited this much atleast in this decade. Atm they are all unknown quantity so don't know how they would come along but some times you can just tell by looking whether they will be test quality, hope they fulfill their potential

They lost only 2 series, one was in Australia. And the SL series can only be called a terrible run.

haha...in that way only the last 2 could e called a terrible run, since the performance in Sa was quite decent and would have won the Oval test if not for Hair-Gate

Yep, India was comprehensively outplayed in Sri Lanka. No doubts about that.
And instead of countering that Pakistan is a **** side for some time, you are just trying to drag India into it. As I said, Pakistan is still a quality ODI side, and a very good T20 one. It's just that they don't have experienced players in their ranks to become a good Test side, atleast for now.
