Mate, with a big lead that Pakistan has , it only takes a couple of wickets to tip the SL Apple cart !!

So If I was putting my money, I would put my house on Pakistan. (fortunately I don't own my house so it serves me fine to put it on the line. )

I am not sure if Akhtar would have made much difference on this pitch in the second innings, where it seems pretty flat. (May be in the first innings )

I still think Kaneria and Shoaib Malik will be the key to Pakistan's victory on this pitch!!

Pakistan bowlers are strangling the run scoring with tight bowling as well as quite a bit out side leg stump and leg stump stuff.

Seems to be effective so far. Deficit has been erased. 3/270 .

The Pakistan strategy at the moment appears to be to control run scoring and make the SL batsmen do something silly in trying to accelerate the scoring !!

26 overs left. Pakistan need a wicket, especially Sangakkara before the close of play, or else there goes their series. Despite Akhtar not being in spectacular form, you'd definitely bring him on hoping that something would happen if he was in the team.

On a help less Flat track, its unfair to criticise these 2. From what I have seen of Naveed in ODI's, he can be quite a handful on wickets that give him half a chance.
Riaz Afridi again has given it his best !! Hope they can get better from here.

Tell you what, Pakistan always impresses me with their ability to pull out brilliant pace men on a regular basis.

Out of the Asian Teams, to me, Pak seems always to be the one that's well endowed with the best pace bowlers, day in day out !!
