Foulkes' figures look horrible here but I think he's actually been pretty unlucky. First over he beat them for pace with his bouncer, had an lbw shout turned down - that I thought looked really close, I don't know why we didn't see any Hawkeye replay of it - had an inside edge go for 4 and a horrible shank go over midwicket for 4; only the 6 actually came off the middle of the bat in the whole over. Then that second over there's been another shank go just over midwicket and a few good yorkers. But he's sitting on 0-28 off 2. Guess it's all just another tick in Thierry Henry's cricket is terrible theory

I hate to be that guy (actually no I love it) but I don't think a bowler has ever discovered 10kph after debuting in internationals as a fully developed adult. Yes I know the legend of bond says he gained 20kph after becoming a policeman but we don't actually have evidence of that and even if we did that means he was just really unfit, which foulkes is evidently not

I'm sure there's a whole bunch of them but no good example is coming immediately to mind. Iain O'Brien maybe? James Franklin (until he lost it again)?

I love the Kiwi kids in the crowd, "Whose your favourite player" "Daryl Mitchell and Glenn Phillips", none of them said Mark Chapman, kids aren't stupid.
