These two just need to bat out the next 20 overs. Both can hit a long ball when set and hasaranga is still to come.

Yep, thought he was lucky to survive that live, but as soon as he did it was only going to be umpire’s call.

A new kid on the block for Canterbury, Shipley is predominantly a right-arm pacer but can has also chip in with the bat lower down the order. It's not easy growing up when your father is also a cricketer. There will always be expectations and comparisons. But Shipley has accomplished more than what his could've asked for at 22. Some eye-catching performances for the Canterbury A side saw the youngster elevating to the main team. carries some legacy behind him. His father was part of the county but didn't get a chance to represent the club in First-Class cricket. In his short career, Shipley has taken 16 wickets in FC cricket. With pace being his USP, if groomed well, he is sure to go places.

I hope Tickner proves us all wrong because he seems like such a good ****. Has some great celebrations too, and the perfect style. What a beautiful man.
The interview with him they played during the break where he talked about his love of the Hawkes Bay and the trauma from the cyclone (people's kids scared now when it rains) was unexpectedly poignant.
