*Official* Sri Lanka in New Zealand 2022/23

Did we... lose a Super Over? Well I never!

We seem so utterly clueless against Theekshana. Should probably practice that.

He's had his moments for NZ but I honestly would like this to be Jimmy's final series for NZ. I dunno what else he has to offer that a Clarkson, a Smith, a Clarke etc can't now and into the future.

It was so obvious how Sri Lanka were going to bowl to him in the super over. It happened, and he fell for it hook, line and sinker. The guy has no offside game

Absolutely love the blueprint that Shanaka provided for bowling at the death, even with 40m straight boundaries. Back yourself as a professional cricketer to hit the hole, he had 6 off 5 until he missed.

It's bizarre. He didn't bowl in either of those ODIs. He's not a 7 - he doesn't have the power game. So WTF are we doing? If it's 'get him in the environment' then I really don't see the need. OK, he batted decently at Eden Park as a salvage job from 7, and that's about the only situation you'd want him doing.
And he's missing an 'A' series for this.

At least he's hitting some good quick runs and presumably building some confidence, but I'm not convinced this is a good allocation of our resources available to the cricket currently happening.

Nah, I completely agree. Much more benefit in the A series.

Rajitha replaces Chamika while host team no change.

I wonder why Bowes given more chances? He is even included in nz 10 matches tour of Pakistan.
