Nah, he wasn't even bad lol. Just Scotty trying to look after his best mate Kyle. Went for 20 odd if his last three overs when the team makes over 400.

Sub fielder drops a sitter. Why wouldn't we pick good fielders as subs rather than up and coming players.

You really need a proper fielding 12th man out there. It's terrible to see a catch go down like that from a guy who will never touch the NZ side.

It's not acceptable that he was picked to go out there. He was unco on the drop and seems more concerned with wearing the latest sun glasses.

It's weird I don't rate the bowler who took 10 wickets along with picking up the MOM award in NZ's last test.....but I just don't.

Neither, but we seem destined to pick a spinner no matter what.

I'm just imagining this bowling attack with Wagner + Bracewell as backups to Boult and Southee personally. I don't know why we're so hung up on selecting a spinner for NZ conditions especially considering we have Kane and Taylor (at a pinch) if required.

Still think my idea of a neutral test series between India and SL in Australia and NZ has merits, just for the sheer lols.
There should be one where NZ play Aus in India on turners as well. NZ will probably win though considering what happened in the UAE.

We had to enforce the follow on - it was a no brainer. But now that we have - we could lose this match if they post 450-500. That may sound negative but their spinner could be a handful on a day 5 pitch. I know they are saying this Kakanui clay doesn't crumble, but it doesn't have to change too much more for that youngster to start to get some results because as it was yesterday he got purchase.

man i feel bad for the kid who dropped that catch. Should never have been out there, it's arrogant of the management really.

I think when you're all over the side like that in the first innings, the shock factor is part of the reason - where as we're bowling just a couple of hours after dismissing these guys initially, they're able to think about it and come back out much more prepared - versus going away in the field for another couple of days, coming back against fresh bowlers again and bang,.
